Peperomia boivinii and P. 'Trailing Jade', discussed in the protologue under RELATIONSHIPS, are both P. pecuniifolia. The first is a misidentifiction, originated in a botanical gardens in the 1970's and spread into other collections, while the second is a trade name without nomenclatural standing, given to a unidentified wild collection [pers. comm.
