Not to be considered as synonym of Peperomia parvifolia C.DC. as was published by Nyffeler & Rowley, 2002. The fruit body of both species indeed shows a verruculose surface. However, P. parvifolia shows smaller leaves, ovate-elliptic to subdeltoid, peltate at about 1/3 from the base whereas in P. verruculosa the leaves are larger, more round and peltate just a little below the middle.[Mathieu, 2009, pers. comm.]
